Knit & Natter

Every Thursday afternoon from 1.30pm a group meets at the Encounter Centre to chat, drink tea and coffee and to make blankets for refugees.

Some people choose to knit, others to sew or crochet. And some come to learn how to do it! For example, in the past we have been able to supply blankets to add to the household items that we have donated to Syrian refugee camps.

Beryl says “It’s great to be able to get together and craft something which will potentially save lives by keeping people warm”.

If you’d like to join the group just call in on a Thursday to find out what it’s all about.
