Our beliefs
We want to be a church that's reaching out into the community, bringing healing and meaning to people's lives, encouraging belonging to Jesus and His Church family and enjoying fellowship with other Christians.
We believe that a great COMMITMENT to the great COMMANDMENT and the great COMMISSION will grow a great CHURCH.
Our faith statement can be summarised as follows:
We believe there is one God who lives eternally in three equal persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
We believe God has revealed himself in the Bible, the Old and New Testaments.
We believe all men and women, being created in the image of God, have equal dignity and worth.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
We believe salvation is entirely a work of God's grace and cannot be earned or deserved.
We believe the Holy Spirit has been sent from heaven to glorify Christ and to apply his work of salvation.
We believe the universal Church is the body of which Christ is the head and to which all who are saved belong.
We believe that Baptism and the Lord's Supper have been given to the churches by Christ as visible signs of the gospel.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return in glory.
