Who we are
Established for more than 25 years, we are a growing community-focused church based in Birchwood, near Warrington in Cheshire.
We have two main church activities, Birchwood Community Church and Gorse Covert Community Church, each with its own style of worship. We also have many regular activities for all ages during the week and special events throughout the year. Our new Encounter Centre provides the venue for our worship as well as for groups that meet during the week.

We are developing a new centre, known as Encounter. When completed this will comprise a new worship centre (opened April 2009), recycle shop, cafe, youth drop-in, community room, art facilities and toddlerzone.
We also have a small resource centre situated at the end of Birchwood Shopping Centre. This is open on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday each week from 9am to 1pm.
Our members are from many different walks of life, nationalities and ages.
In all that we do we are committed to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and to serving the community in which we are proud to live and work.
