Encounter

Re:Use

Re:Use provides quality second-hand clothes at a very low cost (children's clothes 50p, nearly all adults clothes £1.00 - £2.00). It is different from the usual "charity shop", as the principal aim is to support the community, not to raise money to support a charity.

Re:Use is managed on a day to day basis by volunteers from Birchwood Community Church, and the shop also provides volunteering opportunities for others in the community.

Donations of clean, good quality clothes, shoes and handbags are welcomed and can be dropped off at the shop during opening hours or at the Birchwood Resource Centre, between Halifax and Barclays Bank.

The Re:Use shop is located opposite the Citizens' Advice Bureau. Follow the signs from the corner of the Encounter Centre.

Re:Use is open three times a week: Wednesday 10am to 2pm; Friday 11am to 2pm; and Saturday 10am to 12 noon.
