Café Encounter at the Encounter Centre, Birchwood

Café Encounter is Birchwood's newest café! Visit us at 57 Dewhurst Road, Birchwood, Warrington and relax in the luxurious leather sofas to the aroma of some of the world's finest espresso coffee. We serve freshly made coffees, teas, hot chocolate, milkshakes and frappés as well as a tempting range of delicious cakes, muffins, Danish pastries, cold drinks, sandwiches, toasties and paninis.

Coffee, Tea and Hot Chocolate

Our baristas take their coffee seriously. They grind the finest espresso beans on the spot to make your freshly brewed cappuccino, latte, mocha or your choice of speciality coffee. We serve tea by the pot, but also offer a range of fruit teas such as peppermint, camomile, English Breakfast and Earl Grey. Our hot chocolate emphasises the chocolate not the sugar for a richer chocolate experience.

Milkshakes and Frappés

We make our milkshakes from ice cream, so you can be sure of the best. As for our frappés ... tasting is believing! Try them with an espresso shot or with speciality flavouring. Choose from Amaretto, Butterscotch, Old English Toffee and others.

Soup, Sandwiches, Toasties, Paninis

We offer freshly-made sandwiches, toasted sandwiches and paninis as well as a fine array of cakes and confectioneries, and of course soup of the day.

Find help or just a listening ear. Café Encounter has quickly earned a reputation as a place where the staff have time for you. Especially if you're there early to mid morning, or from mid afternoon, you'll find that it's a place where you can get to know the staff, meet other people and feel at home.

Café Encounter is part of the Encounter Centre, home to Birchwood Community Church. You can get information about the church's re:use clothes shop, Foodbank, HeArt, youth drop-in centre, Alpha courses, mums and tots group, Sunday services, and a whole range of activities that you can be involved in.
